EverCaire holds the most personal information a family has. Here is what we do to keep it safe, in plain words.

Encrypted, always

Your files and data are encrypted while they travel and while they are stored. Each person's records are visible only to the account that added that person.

Held to the HIPAA standard

As a consumer service, EverCaire is not a covered entity under HIPAA. We hold ourselves to the HIPAA Security Rule anyway. Business Associate Agreements are in place with every provider that can touch health data, our database and file storage, our hosting, and OpenAI, whose model reads your records, before the Service holds any family's real records.

The AI learns nothing from your records, and keeps nothing it does not need

The model that reads your records and answers your questions sees only the text it needs for each request. Under the agreement in place with OpenAI, that text is not used to train models and is not retained for abuse monitoring or human review; it is processed and discarded, apart from short-lived technical caching. Your original files are never sent to the model provider.

No trackers, no selling

There are no advertising trackers in EverCaire and no third-party analytics. We do not sell data, and we never will.

You hold the keys

Sign in with Google or Apple, or with your email and a password stored only as a one-way hash. Download everything, in its original form, whenever you like. Delete anything, or your whole account, and it is gone.

Hosted in the United States

Your data is stored in United States data centers.
